Really loved this! Very atmospheric and sincere. Great characterization for the two leads, Abby's character motivation for entering the forest especially feels very well fleshed out. Also absolutely obsessed with the aesthetic of hand-drawn characters on photorealistic backgrounds which is what made me decide I had to instantly play this. Would honestly kill a man to see a fully animated version of this in that style. Great job! Keeping an eye out for whatever you do next.

I had fun playing this game! Really enjoyed that the forest is really mysterious as this page says. I love the characters, and I hope for them to see them together snugging in their bed blankets. Art as always, is really cool, like the YNFG (which I would check later, since you updated it a while ago, probably with another YNFG in a game jam as a hint of when I’ll play it.)
Hopefully to see more of the Forest Game universe in the future.
It was such a short lovely game, until it wasn't. I believe the game's trying to tell some stories about the 2 kids, but let the players interpret that themselves instead, which is alright. I really enjoy the pixel art and forest cgs, they feel cold and tense yet comforting and nostalgic, keep up the great work!

listen the DAW i was using to make the music for this was really crappy i can make competent music now,,
also i probably should have just used a stock guitar sound...
